Rishab Chadha made his debut with Aladdin back in 2007 and since then this talented young actor has captured all the platforms possible. He has worked with A-Listers like Ajay Devgn, Sonam Kapoor but his acting has always made him standout even amongst such stellar cast. We had an opportunity to speak to this talented fine actor, do read on…

You began your career in the industry right back in 2007, how has your journey been since then?

Firstly thank you for acknowledging my journey, my journey has been great till date, filled with wonderful experiences, beautiful people that I have met along the way. I just feel really good to be a part of the creative field, I cherish being an artist.

During your over a decade career in the industry you have worked on everything right from TVC’s to web shows, how different are each of them?

Honestly everything has its own charm, I love doing TVC’s the idea of emoting and telling a story in a minute or less, really excites me, I love that.TV has its own charm, the reach and connect with audience and fans is lovely, almost as if you become a part of their daily routine.  Web platform is like experimenting, with different ideas and scripts which is a delight for both creator and viewer. Films are larger than life. They envelope you. That big screen, is a pure joy.

Tell us something about your recent project ‘ 5+ 1 Steps to fall in love again’

I was approached for 5+1, and I absolutely loved the script, it was my first time with zoom studios. I absolutely loved working with them, it was a great team, and creatively very satisfying.

You have recently began sharing poetries on your Instagram, did you start writing them during the lockdown?

Honestly I have always been a fan of poetry, and I usually write for myself, but very recently I started sharing it, and honestly it’s a different high altogether it fills me up and overwhelms me in a good way, keep an eye for more.

You have worked with some excellent actors like Piyush Mishra, Ajay Devgn, Tabu how was your experience of working with them?

It was a surreal experience, just to watch all these actors perform or rehearse, just to be able to observe them… Is a treat.

In which genre do you like working romance, action or thriller?

I am comfortable and happy with any genre, that way I am constantly sharpening my skills and hopefully becoming a better artist.

One Hollywood film you wish to be apart of if remade in Bollywood

Before we go, I just love that film

We lost a great director Nishikant Kamat this year but you had an opportunity of working with him, how was he on set?

Well I very well remember that day, I went silent for some time. I remember him as a man of few words, he would come, tell me exactly what he wants and that’s about it. Today wherever he is, I wish nothing but the best for him.

A dream director you wish to work with?

There are way too many, taking one name would be extremely   hard!

The wait to see the magic created on set to unfold on screen.

Super power, would be body shaping. Working out can be so tedious and time taking. I’d be able to get in shape and out of shape whenever required.

iv. If not an actor what would you be?

If not an actor I would be a chef, I really enjoy cooking, but maybe I’d do that with an open kitchen set up

  v.Road trips or treks

Treks, it’s almost like stepping into a different world, and being surrounded by nature and the immensity of mountains would be great.
